About Us
Mornings are for Mimosas made its debut in 2018 in Northern Virginia as a brunch-themed wedding planning workshop series geared towards brides & grooms to help them get started with the wedding planning process. Produced by All About You Event Management, the workshop was created to answer the many questions that couples have, but don’t know where to start. From budget creation to finding the right vendors for their wedding day, the workshop helps them move in the right direction to have a seamless wedding.
In 2019, we created Mornings are for Mimosas: The Planners & Vendors edition. This networking event gave planners and other wedding/event vendors the opportunity to network, discuss the state of the industry, event trends, strategies for gaining new clients and other topics that helped them in their businesses.
Meet our Creator
Hi there! I’m Necoya Tyson, owner of All About You Event Management, LLC and the creator of the wedding workshop series & networking event, Mornings are for Mimosas™. In addition to that, I’m the creative brain and producer of Mimosa Fest, the boozy, bougie, brunchy day party/festival coming to Austin, TX on May 15, 2022.
I’ve been planning events for over 17 years and truly feels that this is my passion. When it comes to planning, I believe that excellent customer service and a positive attitude are key elements to producing successful events. Bringing people together with diverse backgrounds to listen to one another, learn from each other and achieve common goals is something that I pride myself on.
I became a Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) in 2012, Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) in 2016, Certified Wedding Planner (CWP) in 2018, Certified in Corporate Event Planning (CCEP) in 2018 and I became a member of the inaugural CEM-Advanced Professional (CEM-AP) class in 2019.
I’m an active member of the International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE) where I currently serve as an IAEE CEM faculty member and teach classes all over the world on various subjects in tradeshow planning & management.
